Activities for BRAP students are arranged by BRAP faculty and staff.   Costs are largely, if not fully, covered by the RAP fee.   They are intended to be not only fun, but educational and experiential. Sign-up sheets for fall trips will be available at the Opening Picnic, held just before classes start.  Sign-up sheets for spring trips will be posted in the BRAP office after an email is sent out regarding the availability of each trip.   Because space is limited on each trip and sign-ups are on a first-come first-served basis, students are encouraged to watch for emails about upcoming events and register for trips of their choice at the first opportunity.  Trips may be cancelled in event of bad weather or lack of sufficient student interest.  Most trips have a pre-trip meeting to talk about trip details and gear requirements.

Students are welcome to contribute ideas for places to go on field trips.  Such suggestions  can be made to Claire Figel at the BRAP office.  Suggestions can be accommodated depending on staff availability, financial costs,  and potential conflicts with other events.
